Ankara City Hospital is the biggest hospital in the capital city of Turkey with 3.810 bed-capacity and 1.312.000 m2 indoor space. The Bilkent campus is also one of the biggest hospital campuses of the world. The hospital, which comes third in the world with a total bed capacity, is in Bilkent; there are 1,011 polyclinics, 700-bed intensive care unit, 131 operating rooms, 127-bed chemotherapy center, FTR (physical therapy and rehabilitation) center with 65 treatment cabins, 38-bed dialysis center and 10-bed iodine treatment service. In addition, hundreds of medical tests and imaging procedures can be performed at the same time in laboratories built on an area of 7,400 square meters equipped with the most modern technologies and in imaging services areas established on an area of 17,500 square meters.
The hospital also has an intensive care unit with a capacity of 674 beds, which allows the monitoring and measurement of patient parameters at the highest level. The hospital also has 127 seats in the chemotherapy unit, 38 beds in the dialysis center, 10 beds in the iodine treatment service and 24 beds in the burn treatment unit. Turkey hosts the largest laboratory in the hospital, all services will be carried out in the digital environment. There are 2 separate heliports for ambulance helicopters on the campus. While 30 thousand patients are served daily in the entire campus, the emergency room capacity is over 8 thousand people per day.
